Courleciel, l'éditeur historique du Star Wars magazine en France, a fermé ses portes.
"Avec l'avènement d'Internet et l'impact de la crise économique mondiale - dont la combinaison affecte largement la presse écrite de par le monde - nous avons décidé à contrecœur de cesser la publication du magazine" a déclaré son rédacteur et éditeur Patrice Girod. "Nous souhaitons remercier tous nos lecteurs pour leur enthousiasme et le soutien qu'ils nous ont apportés pendant toutes ces années" a-t-il ajouté. "Bien que la publication du magazine soit terminée, nous savons que cela n'altérera en rien la passion qu'ont les fans Français pour la saga Star Wars".
Steve Sansweet, Responsable des Relations avec les Fans, remercie au nom de LucasFilm Patrice Girod pour son travail acharné, année après année, permettant la publication d'un magazine de grande qualité.

“With the rise of the internet and the impact of the worldwide economic crisis - both of which are affecting print publications everywhere - we have reluctantly decided to cease publication of the magazine,” said Patrice Girod, editor and publisher. “We want to thank our readers for their enthusiasm and past support,” Girod added. “We know that while publication of our magazine has ended, this will not end the passion that so many French fans have for the Star Wars saga.”
